BIO
Sfregio are a Thrash'n'roll band, formed in Genoa in the summer of 2008 by four friends and musicians who decided to turn everything that happened to them in their everyday lives into music.
From the trio composed of Seth on guitar and vocals, Grinder on bass, and Ylme on drums, they quickly expanded to a four-piece with the addition of Doctor Rock on lead guitar.
The band self-describes as "Porno alcoholic thrash'n'roll" due to their powerful and gritty sound, reminiscent of punk, with fast and powerful riffs typical of speed metal, and irreverent and politically incorrect lyrics sung in Italian.
After solidifying the lineup and performing a series of shows in the Ligurian region, the band released their debut album: "Zabbaglioni and Rock 'n Roll."
Published in 2009, it immediately gained great success in the underground scene, leading the band to perform at significant events such as Metal Disorder 2010 in Milan, Machete Fest with Raza de Odio, Rock in the Casbah in Sanremo, Hard Castle Metal Fest with Necrodeath, and many more.
In 2011, due to high demand, the band released their second album, "Marcio nel Cervello," which was distributed by Masterpiece.

Seasoned by countless life experiences during their various journeys, the album proved to be violent and unabashed, garnering great success both in terms of reviews and among fans. The music video for "Fumo (E Se Non Fumo Ci Schiumo)" was filmed, and several shows during the "Marcio nel Cervello Tour" sold out. The tour also featured supporting slots for Atroci, Necrodeath, Nanowar, Punkreas, Lucky Bastardz, Fucktotum, Bad Bones, Game Over, Tossic, and Crucified Barbara.
At the beginning of 2013, the band started recording the songs for their new album, "Stronzi." However, unexpectedly, the vocalist Seth departed from the group due to personal reasons. The project continued with a new guitarist and a new singer, expanding from four to five members. After a few months, the band ultimately split up.
"Stronzi" was released in 2015 during a period of inactivity.

In July 2021, the news of the reunion with the original lineup and the release of a best-of album titled "All In" was announced. The album consists of twenty tracks, including five previously unreleased songs: two newly recorded in 2021 and three never before published.
"All In" was released in two versions: CD format and a limited edition box set limited to 100 copies, which includes the CD, custom playing cards, posters, stickers, and a miniature bottle of "Skeggio" bitter liqueur, the Sfregio's own brand of bitter.
The reunion generated significant interest and excitement among fans, with the box set selling out even before the official announcement. The reunion party at Crazy Bull in Genoa was also sold out within days of the announcement. From that evening, a live DVD titled "Sudore e Coglioni" was produced and released in the early months of 2022.
In July, the EP "Due" was released, recorded at Nadir Studios by Tommy Talamanca, featuring the titular track and "Vino."
On December 10, 2022, the band released their new album, "Fagioli e sangria," their first full-length album since "Stronzi."
In the early months of 2024, Sfregio signed with Nadir Music and released their fifth studio album, titled "Malmignotta". The album was accompanied by the release of three singles with corresponding music videos, followed by an extensive promotional tour.
